NeSMITH CHEVROLET DLMS COLUMBUS, MS RACE RESCHEDULED FOR THIS SATURDAY

               CARTERSVILLE, GA – NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series and Columbus Speedway officials have announced that the 40-lap $2,500-to-win 8^th Annual Winter Classic Race has been rescheduled for this Saturday at the ¼-mile high-banked clay oval in Columbus, MS.  The race was originally scheduled for January 26, but was postponed by an ice storm.

The NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series will compete in Qualifying, Heat Races, and the 40-lap $2,500-to-win main event at Columbus Speedway this Saturday afternoon The schedule of events will remain the same as it was last week with an open practice set for Friday with gates opening at 2 p.m. and practice from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

 On Saturday, the gates at Columbus Speedway open at 9 a.m. with the drivers meeting set for 12:30 p.m. , and racing is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m.   NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series Registration and Pre-Race Technical Inspection will be conducted between 9 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
